One of the keys to health and wellness for everyone, especially those of you who have been through cancer treatments, is a strong body. We welcome you to come join us for a good workout! This class is designed for cancer survivors of a wide range of fitness levels. Whether your doctor has just authorized or recommended a workout program or if you've been working out for quite sometime, this class is for you!
Like all of our other classes, Survivor Strength Training is designed to help you succeed at your own pace! There is no pressure or competition to do the same number of reps as other people. You choose the weights -- from no weights to 3 pounds to 20 pounds. You'll be lifting, stretching, working out at your own pace guided by Joel Klein, one of Synergy Fitness' Personal Trainers. Let Joel guide you to a stronger healthier body so you can enjoy life even more!

Before moving to Vermont in 2007, Joel spent over twenty years producing reality television shows in Los Angeles. Joel had never set foot inside a gym until he was in his forties. A family friend who happened to be a highly respected personal trainer, told him it was time. This friend dragged Joel to his gym, Legacy, in West Los Angeles, and designed a program for him. With Joel's friend's inspiration and mentoring, Joel became obsessed with working out. This obsession motivated him to learn more about personal training, and eventually earning his Personal Trainer certification.
